Inter Services 2026 – Nearly There!

Inter Services 2026 – Nearly There!

Keith Humpleby

The climax of the Forces Rugby League Calendar is only a month away with, as has become traditional, RNRL hosting the opening set of fixtures

RNRL will welcome RAFRL to our Burnaby Road HQ for the first round of his years IS Series with the Senior Brothers out to avenge the narrow defeat last season at Belle Vue. That loss led to the Senior Mens IS trophy being decided on points, with Army RL beating RAFRL at Craven Park the Brothers regained the title last won in 2023.
Last season the RNRL Women scored a magnificent victory over the RAF to secure second place behind the ever strong Army Womens side. That victory was massive for the Wrenegades, not by the winning margin but more for reestablishing RNRL as a force to be reckoned within AF RL.
Our Academy Brothers had a mixed set of results last season losing to ARL at Burnaby Road before roaring back to beat the RAF at Belle Vue. This season then the Academy Brothers will look to a repeat of the 22 and 23 seasons and bring the trophy back to HQ!
