The Knights are based just off J32 of the M62 near Wakefield and play in the NCL Conference League Division 1 finishing 3rd in last years competition. Of the three previous meetings the Knights have the edge winning their two previous visits to Burnaby Road whilst the Brothers caused a huge upset in 2003 by beating the Knights on their home pitch. The details of the match are yet to be finalized but will be played over the weekend of the 27/28th January.

For the record the other two service teams face NCL opposition again at home with the Army having possibly the tougher of the fixtures facing Leeds based Milford Marlins who finished last season one place behind the Knights in NCL 1. As for the RAF they will host Drighlington ARLFC, again based just off the M62 between Leeds and Bradford, who were promoted to NCL Div 2 for the 2017 season
