The Brothers have spent the last couple of days overcoming any jet lag and have made full use of the excellent Randwick facilities to prep for tomorrows match against an emerging Cup side from Renown United.
The match will be under the floodlights of the Peakhurst Park Ground kicking off locally at 7:30 pm which, for us in UK, is 10:30 on Tuesday morning. Watch out for updates from the game as it progresses from Vice Chairman Mat Gee who is with the tour in Sydney.
If you have not already found RNRL on Instagram, at rnrl13, it is definitely worth a look with our very own Manoa Satala shooting lots of stills and video footage to bring the tour to us in UK.
Renown United play in the St George Illawarra Junior League and have been established for over 70 years boasting many players who have gone on to NRL and Country representation with Mark Gasnier probably the most recognizable name to UK RL supporters. RNRL has a bit of history with the Renown club having first played them in 2002 at the St George-Illawarra stadium. The match was part of the first ever RNRL overseas tour however the Brothers, led by Chris Richards, went down to the home side on the day. All the planning and efforts by players and backroom comes to fruition tomorrow so wishing the Brothers the best of luck for the game – go well lads
