The following text was issued by UKAFRL via Facebook this morning confirming not only Danny's selection for the Head Coach role but other appointments to the new Committee.

UKAFRL are proud to announce the newly appointed Head Coach Danny Johnson.

Danny captained and coached RNRL, played Combined Services and was Head Trainer for UKAFRL in Defence World Cup 2013. We are really excited with his strategic vision for achieving success in the 2021 WC. His wealth of experience and clear passion demonstrated at interview bodes well for the future. UKAFRL are pleased to announce the new committee. Careful consideration was given to all applicants and we believe that we have selected a fresh, exciting and ambitious committee that represents all 3 Services with best in class support from the civilian world that will take our game forward.
