Congratulations to our very own Head Coach Steve Lockton who was inducted into the RN PT Branch Hall of Fame on Friday at HMS Temeraire

This award is special to all inductees as it is purely a Branch award with all recipients being chosen by their peers.

The purpose of the Hall Of Fame is to enthuse, encourage and motivate all PTs to aspire to the greatest level of achievement they possibly can in their chosen sporting field, and as such, the process of selection was based on the following criteria. Successful nominees must have demonstrated the following qualities:
a. Made a significant contribution to their sport over a sustained period;
b. Been an exemplary ambassador for sportsmanship throughout his/her career to date;
c. Displayed Naval Core Values in their sporting/officiating performance and involvement;
d. Been recognised as an elite sportsman/official within their chosen sphere of sport;
e. Displayed/s excellence in sport/officiating, both on and off the pitch through both their talent and their behaviour.

For those who know Locky the five categories sum the man up to a tee so its fantastic to see his efforts over the years be being recognised and see him join previous RNRL inductees Wayne Okell and Jim Barnes in this most illustrious of companies.

This Hall of Fame induction rounds off a memorable year for Locky, being promoted to CPO and leading RNRL to another Inter Services victory, add to that wife Ayeshea also 'getting her buttons' it has been a special year in the Lockton household.
