The Royal Marines Corps team first two fixtures of the season are now confirmed.

The first match is the now traditional fixture at Wigan St Patricks for the Elms Darbyshire Trophy named after two Royal Marines from the area who made the ultimate sacrifice whilst on operational duty. There are also two further trophies to be presented on the day, again in memory of local lads who lost their lives on duty. The man of the match is awarded in memory of another Royal Marine, Stephen Curley whilst the Heart Of Courage award is in memory of Lt Cdr Ian Molyneux.

The opposition on the day will be a St Pats XIII and promises to be a fantastic curtain raiser to the trans Pennines NCL clash between the St Pats 1st team and the Leeds based Oulton Raiders.
As you can see by the poster there is a lot more going happening on the day so please support this unique event.
