Yes Origin day is here again, this time we are at Petersfield RUFC for the annual clash of the Maroons and the Blues. Two matches for you tomorrow with the first ever Origin Masters match opening the days action of the field. This match will feature many of the RNRL stars who have played in Origin since its inception in 2002 and we are grateful to all those travelling to play in the match which kicks off at 1400.

Then its on to the big one - QinetiQ Origin XVII! If this match can live up to last weeks third round of the Australian Origin series then you are in for a treat. Currently the Blues have a significant overall lead in the competition but the Maroons come into this years match as holders after a great victory last year at Emerald Headingley - So the question is can Rob Waka's Easts win the trophy back from Steve Riley's Wests or will the Cup return to the wild west for another year!

Whilst the Origin games are the centre piece of the day there is much more happening around the ground with the RM Cadets Field Gun display starting things off at 1100., Remember admission is free to all to celebrate Armed Forces Day with all proceeds from raffles etc going to the Mayor Of Petersfields Charity, the Royal British Legion and the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity so please come along and support this great event.
