The RN came off second best at all three levels on Friday night as the Army inflicted a first clean sweep over RNRL since 2013.

Seniors - The Jack Harrison Trophy Army 36:16 RNRL
Ladies - Army RLW 76:0 Wrenegades
Academy - Army 32:22 RNRL

Coaching and Backroom staff will now assess the injury situation resulting from the three matches as preparations begin for the final fixtures on 21st September when RNRL will host RAF RL at Burnaby Road. Despite the disappointing scores from Fridays games there is still much to play for on the day with the three RN teams keen and determined eager to bounce back from Friday's setbacks. Not forgetting of course the Army will meet the RAF at Post Office Road, Featherstone this Friday (14th Sep) in the second round and the three matches scheduled may well decide the destination of the three championships for this year.
