After last year’s dramatic climax to the competition when a last minute try for the RAF denied the Army both the match and the Seniors IS title this year’s series is eagerly awaited, the Army defending once again the Ladies and Academy titles whilst RNRL come into the competition as defending champions at Senior level.
The fixtures sequence for this year’s competition sees RNRL travel the relatively short distance to Aldershot to face the Army at the Rugby Stadium on 7th September, provisional kick off times are as follows:
Seniors – The Jack Harrison Trophy 1930
Academy – 1700
Ladies – 1500
The following week, 14th September the RAF host the Army with the fixtures being played at RAF Cranwell, kick off times to be confirmed
The final round of matches will be at RNRL HQ Burnaby Road when the RAF will be the visitors. Kick off times at Burnaby Road will be:
Seniors – The Dog Watch Trophy 1930
Academy – 1700
Ladies – 1500
Entrance as always to Burnaby Road is free to all spectators service or civilian with Bar facilities available from 1430
