What are you doing on 2nd June? Get down to KCOM Craven Park, Hull and enjoy a one-off rugby spectacular in support of Armed Forces Veterans.

The beast from the East put paid this amazing fixture earlier in the year but thankfully all involved have come together to reschedule the match for 2nd June 2018. Hull FC and Hull KR will join forces for this charity clash against rugby union internationals in support of Hull 4 Heroes

The original team lists featured many well known names including, for the RL side, three Army players :- current UKAF player Jordan Kerman alongside former players Paul Hartley and Aaron Morfitt whilst BFBS Broadcaster and great friend of UKAFRL Cath Brazier is named in the Red and Whites Union side!

It is understood the game will be played with 40 minutes under League Rules and 40 under Union rules.

This is a fantastic initiative by the Hull 4 Heroes Charity and deserves all the support they can get so if you are on Humberside on Sunday get down to the KCom to support this event whatever your code or shirt colour!

The match is getting a great deal of publicity with ITV news announcing
‘One of Yorkshire's greatest sporting rivalries is set to be put to one side in support of an ambitious project in Hull aimed at helping people who have served in the armed forces. Hull KR and Hull FC are joining forces to help build the world's first so-called 'veterans village' for armed forces veterans. The city's two Super League sides are to put together a rugby league 'super team' to take on squad of rugby union internationals next month in aid of the charity - Hull4Heroes. The money raised will help the charity achieve its ambition to build a village - giving veterans a place to live, rehabilitate and work.’
