Whilst we were given a home draw the opposition are as tough as they come, West Hull ARLFC, one of the top teams in the Amateur game, finishing last season as joint runners up in the NCL Premiership to Hunslet Club Parkside.
Despite meeting many Hull based clubs over the years in the Challenge Cup this will be the first time we have faced West Hull however within their ranks is a very familiar name, scrum half Scott Partis one of the most talented players ever to wear the RNRL colours who played in the RNRL side that won their first ever Inter Services Trophy back in 2004.
Whist final details are to be confirmed by the two clubs the fixture will probably take place at Burnaby Road on the afternoon of Saturday 26th January.
Full details to follow once timings etc are confirmed
